I'm in love with my neighbor
Just a few doors down.
Everyday I see her
And watch her pretty smiles and frowns.
When we say hello
I linger just a bit
To make her laugh
I clown around and use my wit.
I wish I had the cape
Because she has the crown,
Like a queen she walks up and down.
Passing by my door
We share a smile
I take that home for a little while.
Tonight I'll stick around
Just to be near her
I'll say sweet, pretty things
So when she's home alone
She'll think about them there.
