Dark clouds and blue skies

It was dark clouds and blue skies.
It was never another who held my heart inside.
It was innocent and childlike
And smiles and laughter .
It was reckless and fulfillment
Like a beautiful disaster .
It was different from the very start
Like nothing before.
Which is why I wanted to see where this would go some more.
Then came the challenges
It was like ice in your heart and sadness in the sky.
It was like crying tears of pain
It was like guilt inside .
It was feeling so empty so alone
And so afraid.
It was like being a prisoner of your personal pain .
Then the storm would die down and the blue skies would come back.
It was like rainbows and joy
And doubt and worry would start to stack.
Then the hollow and empty would be the new you.
It was like no air to breathe in nowhere to go,no knowing what to do.
It was riptides and thunderstorms
And damages that were done.
It was knowing it wasn’t right
But wanting two half’s again to be one.
So many dark days and so many sunshine’s.
So many things happened but u were never mine.
So many lies so many fights .
So many tears so many nights .
So much stress so many blame.
So many things were never truly the same.
Roses blossomed in between what seemed like wars.
They showed us light and opened up doors.
They gave us hope and smiles
And happiness all around.
They brought us closer and farther
Like we were bound.
I will still navigate this storm
And see the sun and blue skies
Now I am free of it all.
I got roses to bring me peace
infinite love that holds my heart
It’s my whole world that’s so dear that I’ll never fall.
