Another One Bites The Dust

by CJ Maleney   Mar 25, 2019

This is not an ode to Freddy,
Though his words seem rather apt.
A biker friend to whom we say farewell
Leaves behind a massive hole and gap.

The pub won't seem the same.
And the rallys will be less nuts.
Oh how you entertained us all,
And the things you did took guts.

I guess we are all of an age now!
Where our friends will vanish one by one.
Another month, another friend,
But oh the tales that we have spun.

I suppose I should feel blessed in ways.
To have spent a little time,
In the company of a legend,
Who died before his time.

Ride free Waughy.
