Can we heal from emotional pain

There is no escaping
my body has gotten tired,
fightings these feelings has taken away from me actually living.

Traveling down the road
chasing after the same old song,
it left me emotionally crippled.

I remember wearing them shades well
sadly a cure for a broken heart does not exist.
