The Reason I Can't

What you've done to me, you'll never understand
The pain that i feel now, is all at your hand
My sanity you stole, my soul you destroyed
My heart you ripped apart, all thats left is a void

I'm not the same person I was before you
Everything you've done, I can never undo
Every night I fall apart, I long to disappear
And I fear one day you'll win, one day I wont be here

But when I pick up that blade for you, all I can think of is her
I know I can't put her, through all that hurt
It's not her who broke me, that was all you
And I can't put on her, what you've put me through

And now that she's here, I can finally breathe
She's given me a reason not to leave
She's mending the hurt, repairing my soul
She's standing by me, she's making me whole

She's picked up the pieces, she's fixing my heart
And though I want to leave, she's the reason I can't
