A glance

A glance is all I need
A glance into those pools of hazel with flickers of green
A chance for me to catch your eye and not go unseen
A moment for me to feel comfort, love and everything in between

I’ve pondered and replayed all those I’ve had before
Like an avid cinephile all i’m hungry for is more
Analogous to a sentry my head turns when I think you’ve come through the door
One glance saves me
Like I’m lost at sea then the waves carry me ashore.
