Dear Andrea I don't even know where to begin there are no words. This here is so heartbreaking and yet I see strength. When our heart is broken and sorrow exists inside us and yes we don't have to justify it and yes we often feel defeated. The heart turns cold we become numb. I don't know but this write here really touched me and I felt like this before. I am glad you express your emotions the way you do perhaps this is a beginning of healing. You don't have to explain nor justify and when these emotions exist it's a process. I don't know if I make any sense but my heart goes out to you. You are brave you are strong and you are loved.

Wow! is exactly the word that describes how I felt reading this piece. Without a doubt one of your best pieces. I am completely blown away with the imagery and emotion written here this is a masterpiece of words that take my breath away. From the first stanza it is gripping and whilst dripped in heartbreak there is a core of strength that is inspiring. Its poems like this that make me feel so privileged to have access to this site. Best wishes and hugs Milly x

Andrea, so much said in this. It's true, I dont think the sorrow ever leaves, perhaps the edges dull, but never enough not to leave its mark. Hugs you-
