It's been a long flight

by Dagmar Wilson   May 3, 2019

When there is no strength to fight
no tears to cry
nothing left to give,
I just want to quit.

Take me somewhere, anywhere
where I can refuel my soul,
a place I call home.

I am tired
losing my sight
my heart is hanging on a string,
where and how do I find peace within.

May this flight ends soon.

We all need places to refuel, recharge, refresh our soul. So many things can tire and weigh us down, physically, mentally, emotionally... and yet, sometimes the world expects us to not even blink an eye. I hope there is more strength ahead and I send you reassurance and support. May the flight and journey continue on, but with more gentleness and more love.

How very sad, Dagmar. I don't know if you mean you want this episode in your life to come to an end soon or - much more tragically - life in general, but all flights land eventually, hopefully in warmer climes.

    Take care.
