As Inseparable as They are Undressed

by ddavidd   May 5, 2019

You turned my wild wings to a homing pigeon
I was baptized in your nectar
that washed me away
from my religion.

you enfolded me in the ring of your power and prudence
like the sun that bewitches
a dehydrated sunflower,
like a gemstone
on the gold ring of sunshine’s treasure
like a vagabond,
who is spellbound
in the luxuriant foliage allies'
of an insatiable pleasure.

I was baptized in the wetness of your kiss,
in the fire
of such passionate bliss.
I have flooded away.

I was freed from the abstaining of
unloving insolvent life,
this
wriggling slimy
strife.

I was sprinkled like the dust
of your ecstatic moon
slipping down on such wet slippery afternoon
on the slide of its beam
to the end of the dark
lagoon.

I climbed the ladder of your breath
to the panicles of your heartbeats,
your breasts,
where all sensual sins
are received, sanctioned and blessed,
were
bodies and joys
areas inseparable
as they are undressed,

I soared
in the milky ways of your eyes
from the mare of my moon, my nest.

You gushed in my blood
like a spring of healing
from the slit of my wound.
I was lost and drowned
in the water
reflecting on the ceiling.

I was rescued and found
and crowned
in the monarchy
of this
feeling
