At night

by Michael   May 6, 2019

..where shadows of the moon,

shimmer in the breeze. The lake,
in which we bathed came to tease
lapping at our hips,
with watery lips.

the evening air, kissed the trees,
causing a fluster among the leaves,

where beneath

a notion ignited, a fire in our eyes.
thoughts would roam.
Fingertips explored, orbiting your thighs.
Leaving a trail of secrets glistening,
within the skies.

Soft nocturnal whispers caressed my skin.
Deliciously dark. Tones shaded with sin.
Our passion formed patterns in sodden ground
Losing ourselves deeper and deeper in sound.

Our love, we did sell
to natures night.

An organic-
romantic spell.

When it comes to the ocean or a lake it's like a different world. The air, the atmosphere water certainly can play magic. Add to my favorite. Hugs to you

Nice poem, Michael. As for those watery lips, you'll need a tissue for that condition.

A beautiful romantic spell indeed. There is something quite magical about water whether it be the sea or a lake. Milly x
