Now Voyager

by Larry Chamberlin   May 18, 2019

Beneath you as you sleep
a ship floats in your aura
like a glowing pendent hanging
from the chain of your life.

Your rough love draws us close
unfurl your sails and propel
us through the visionary seas
for we will man every station
‘spite the most treacherous gale
and expanses of calm frustration
to bring you to exotic ports
and back to your bed again.

Beneath you as you slumber
a vessel floats gently haloed
by your warm devotion to life
moored for now in safe harbor.

The now Voyager is something very new to me, and I love it. In other words, our life is a voyage itself, so that's why we’re all now voyagers !! What a beautiful tribute to loved ones this is:)
I wish I had the ability to nominate this!!
