Pink bubble

by Dagmar Wilson   May 18, 2019

I had this illusion of perfect togetherness
visualized a beautiful landscape on an empty canvas,
my eyes were my witness.

I've lived in this bubble with pink flowers on the wall
the air in my nest was getting thin.
I woke up to reality.

Dagma I love your pink bubble. Everyone should have one. Optimists have a much happier existence than pessimists. I would rather live in a bubble with pink flowers and a beautiful landscape with the occasional reality storm than live in perpetual reality storm with the occasional pink flower. Much love Milly x

Like you, I tend to be an optimistic person, always believing that sun follows the rain. Your poem shows that even the most optimistic people can get a dose of reality once in a while.
Looks like it's just a shower, so it'll be okay. X
