Arachnids are a good source for poetry themes. There is the sinister and the misunderstood about them that is so relatable.

I got chills reading this. And it feels like you have closed yourself in a really dark place, we all do that.

Even if they want to, it is still hard to let then in, and we end up eating ourselves. Maybe it is time to open the curtains just a little..

Oof. You know those poems where you immediately get chills and still shiver a bit afterwards? Your whole tone in this was somber and cold at times and just... honest. I noticed the capitalization of "i" in the "second" half, from focusing on The Spider to the morphing into it.

The shift at the end reminded me of when those around us look for the positivity and try to encourage others to, when they don't understand sometimes the darkness swallows us and we want (and convince ourselves) it would be better to be stuck there. I also "tasted" bitterness in this piece. When it doesn't feel right that the world is still turning and people are finding joy in the small things when we can't even do that. So we sabotage and dirty something that could have given us some hope to go off of, because if we can write off that and say "oh we can live without", we isolate and start to believe and sink into such lies.
