Great Grandpa's Van

by Olivia   May 21, 2019

The smell of you lingers inside that very van that is now mine.
The only thing I have left of you.
I don't want it cleaned but I know it is for the best.
The way you used to drive drove me crazy!
I miss you so much. Why did you have to go so soon?

Losing anyone you love is always a wrench but when it is a beloved parent or Grandparent it is so much deeper a loss. As I sat reading this I could almost imagine him visiting you periodically just to check you are ok and sitting beside you in the van. Sat complaining heavily and laughing about how your driving is driving him crazy now. Sending you a warm hug Milly x
