Inharmony (Rondeau)

by Michael   May 27, 2019

..of man's lost war, I sail my boat,
to live and keep my hopes afloat.
My eyes do seek but see no land
no more the coast lays golden sand.
My life drifts round an endless moat.

Such men with greed, they did provoke,
to warm our globe, where icebergs broke.
The rage unleashed, of natures hand
caused seas to rise, and rivers damned
...of man's lost war

Upon the wind, comes scent of smoke
and soon the air will start to choke.
No harmony, no dream so grand,
I am a slave of man's cruel hand.
So bon voyage, my final quote
...of man's lost war.

Now when I see your name against a rondeau form, I just know it's not going to disappoint.
    Well done and good luck.
