Short time, long time?

Short time, long time?

I was musing about the passing of time, with the clock’s moving gears, with a steady tick, tock, it’s forward movement mocks what’s past, begging the question; how long did those precious moments last?

There are no take backs with Father Time, he does leave some precious memories, a walk in the dark, a kiss in the Park, a nursery rhyme, a wonderful time. Joy, and, pain, laughter in the Spring rain. Those you did entertain, the friends, that through thick, and thin, still, those called; Over the Hill, but to this day, remain.

Failures, that cause many a sad song’s refrain, Happy Hour may have many, hoarding many a penny, an Unhappy Hour would also bring comfort to some, those sharing their lessons learned the hard way, with much difficulty keeping the Creditors at bay.

Did you know that you can win by losing? Jesus said; For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. Matthew 16:25 To many Rich, and proud, this truth is laughed at, and, despised, but, to the poor, the downtrodden, broken hearted, heavy laden, it is the opening of their spiritual eyes.

As the Bible tells us, all Mankind is in a fallen state, sin has blinded them to the Light of God’s Word, their dark souls are filled with hate, War is what they love, Peace they ignore, their debauchery brings them to such a low level, that, even the animals have a higher esteem, despite all this, and, being enemies of God, to them, He does not be mean.
Jesus Christ offered himself for all their sins, past, present, and, future, the just dying for the unjust, Jesus died for His enemies, not requiring any good work on their part, but, just by believing in Him as their Savior, what great favor from the God of Love above.

Great messege in this poem! :)

P.s the words of a hymn come to mind after reading this ~
" How deep the Fathers love for us
    So vast, so free....unmeasured .
That He should give His only Son
And make a wretch His treasure
