"Primordial"

“Primordial”

3 Eons ago,
The World was sent churning.
Something Spiritual,
moved over the shimmer of the deep.
A mirrored empty void,
without volition or moral.

A Timeless Elemental of Nature,
The Power of God.
A Being arose,
That carried The Ghost of
Frankenstein….

A plenary that was
originally good,
became tainted
and turned to Evil
By a revolution no one understood.

Innocence was
Decapitated,
By the monster
called Man.
A mindless force
that could be harnessed
for any purposeless endeavor.

Let the unbounded
Myth,
Be unleashed upon thee
to follow and haunt
all the days
primordial life dare
to slither upon the Rock.

Flashes of electrical Power,
and Violence,
will be your possessing,
all consuming Creed.

The Beast in now inside you….
Or has it always been?

This is an amazing write and the fourth stanza just blew me away
    "Innocence was Decapitated,
    By the monster
    called Man.
    A mindless force
    that could be harnessed
    for any purposeless endeavor."

I really hope there is someone out there who still has a spare nomination. Superb... Milly x
