Grass in the Wind

by Mortal Utopia   Jun 20, 2019

the wind
pushes
us

a little together
or a little farther.

so
we lean
like souls

on one another.

blade after blade,
grass upon grass, as
though in tears - making
the field a little flatter. and
the sun would always paint us
the same colour, no matter how
tall we grow, fluttering to the horizon.

Wow ! and the sun, would always paint us the same color! No matter how tall we grow,

    fluttering to the horizon.

What a beautiful piece. Beautiful poem. The whole scene was spectacular. The wind pushing us as though we are leafs, dancing all along one another..We are all in on the same page. I could write your whole poem to explain what I loved most about it. The imagery is sharp.
