Low

by Maple Tree   Jun 20, 2019

Its very difficult
to smile during a thunderstorm.

Walking in the rain
mixing tears with shadows
and unsavory thoughts.

Entering rooms with people
who know me and ignore
the faces I make, I'm screaming
for help and they are the ones
with hearing loss.

Lightening distracts the ones
who love me, while darkness
holds me back with my hands
tied and lips sealed.

Its the most scariest place of all
to be at the bottom, on the lowest
days of my life, and yet here I am-
fighting alone;

while winds of strength consume my soul.

I know no matter how many times you keep hearing you are not alone, you will still feel you are. And when you do feel alone, you may feel weak but confront the loneliness by holding it’s horns even if it hurts you will win you are strong!! <3

It's amazing how strong we are when fighting on a battlefield. Andrea you have fought so hard and you are strong more than you will ever know. When our lives have turned upside down when we are at our lowest we feel we are alone but there comes that survivor instinct. It's OK to scream and let it all out you are human and you are still standing strong. You are such inspiration to so many. All the very best to you
