A promise I will keep.

by Blank   Jun 26, 2019

I made a promise,
one that I will share.
Whether you choose to read on,
I dare not to care.
Keep your sympathy in your heart.
I don't want to share it when I depart.
On the new year, the new month and the new day.
I will stand alone, on my chair.
As I scream at life, it is not fair.
On the new hour, and the new minute.
I'll climb over the rail, and watch the lights fly by. As I loosen my grip, and fall to finally die.
A disguting promise.
A heartbroken man.
Don't stand over my grave, and scream god damn.
Because you're to blame, I hope you understand.
When I'm no longer a burden.
A free soul finally.
Then I will take my place,
Down below in hell.
A thought you cannot bare.
So goodbye my friend.
I told you so,
I made a promise,
And I'll have a fine farewell.
It's a promise I'll not tell,
But it is a promise I shall keep.
I can't wait to finally fall asleep.

As someone who has felt the heaviness of seeking to be a "free soul", I hope you can free yourself through living. Finding freedom in thriving, not just surviving. It never is easy and I just hope that you can realize and appreciate your presence here on this earth. Too often we get sucked into this sick idea that we are a burden. We don't deserve to ever feel like that. Life should not be putting that pressure on us and I hope you find light ahead, fulfillment in becoming who you are and knowing there is more to this world than always feeling like a burden or having to deal with a broken heart. There has to be more and you must fight for that chance.

Sending my support. This was an emotional read.
