For Love Of One

by Mark   Jun 26, 2019

I wonder which will greet me when I die;
The arch of angels or the scorching pit?
The latter has me known within the lie;
That I before that arch and she, emit:
'Your bed is mine that I belay hereby
Around what I can give that only bed',
Yet lust did not envisage church's ply
And placed it's shame upon the promised wed.
Confuse no motive there with that of love;
As love had differed none and spoke it true,
And if the former grants that I'm above -
Should I renounce that love, begone the blue!

For love of one were that; my chest-beat's stead
If hell upholds this truth, then there be dead!

    The arch of angels or the scorching pit?

    That’s a pretty good question. There’s another option but that’s for the non believer. I enjoy the read. I’m not entirely sure I understood the content. I may need more than a couple of reads. Nonetheless, thanks for sharing
