Those sirens, tricky ones they are..

I can never think of sirens anymore without hearing Tim Buckley's haunting 'Song to the Siren' playing in my head. Anyway, as I read this, I heard that and it lent the piece a rather eerie feel...

I definitely get a feel of "come hither" in this poem, and I love the seduction and softness of it. The enchantment of exploring these new worlds. Deceptively enchanting :)
