bumper carts & body parts

by donk2ymouth   Jul 18, 2019

I'm driving off this cliff
because I've already
been through
the non-fatalistic
fall over and over
all on my own
on broken bones
i have crawled
and i'd like
no longer to
be asked to
persevere and endure
horror-broiled hors'douerves
sadistic seconds in a second
these curséd cursing words
for thirds, i'll fly, way down high
backwards drib in reverse
this guiding guardrail
today he fails to bring
me back to my home of
stupid sticks and stones
that may break my bones
in spite of all that metal might
i've flexed his steely will
problem is the probability
chance is silly, really
sticks and stones may break
my bones
                                                                         but cliff jumping
                                                                                                     will surely
                                                                                                                          kill.
