Seeker of love

Finding love is the number one thing
On everyone list
And when false love is in disguise
The true meaning behind it can easily be miss

Not all heartbeats with honesty
And a liar carries nothing that’s valuable
and a wistful seeker of love
Can leave themselves open and vulnerable

A user of people’s emotions
uses the pretense of love to get what they can
and someone who is afraid to lose a relationship
would put an open checkbook in their partner's hand

loneliness and getting older in age
can push some people into cheap love affairs
and then they will wear a fake smile
when secretly their lives are in despair

just to say “I have a relationship “
some people will live in a lie
and continue to live in it
hoping it will get better as time goes by

it's an illusion that they have come to believe
playing like a movie in their head
and appetite for destruction
that must be fed

there is a difference with someone just saying those lovey-dovey things you want to hear
and someone that actually means it
and truly, loves you and wants to be there

and honest person would not be misled you
they would be truthful from the start
and they might even brush you off
and ignore you if you have no place in their heart

and yes, you would be hurt
but you would be hurt by the truth
and it might lead you to something better
instead of being played like a flute

you can't find Mr. right or misses happy
because you said so
when that true love comes to you
you would feel it from the get-go

there is a lot of things that need to be considered
in order to be in a “real relationship”
words are just not good enough nowadays
today some people words are as strong as a potato chip

because one can easily manipulate someone
and fool them into believing that they actually love them
most people try to get in relationships just to get in their pants
today relationships are used more like a one-time pass kind of thing

a seeker of love
has a very beautiful soul
and they only want to feel special
and to be someone's world

and a user of peoples love
is an ugly human being
is a dream crusher
very vile and obscene

they would take the best part of your life
and use it as a trill
and move to their next victim
after they have got their fill

too many broken homes and dreams
are the results of shallow emotions
don’t stand in a glass house
if you are not sure of its foundation

it’s always wise to take your time
take a walk and smell the flowers too
fall in love with yourself again
