Flower Skeletons

by Maple Tree   Jul 29, 2019

The bells keep chiming
within a brain that only focuses
on sorrow.

It's time they "whisper"
each movement of muscle
aches to the beat of tears
that drop upon pavement.

Sidewalks have cracks
because so many wanderers
like myself, cry when they walk
alone-

I'm waiting for a flower
to bloom in a city where flowers die.

O' isolated soul that feeds on seclusion. She yearns for a flower to sprout through the cracky surface. And pity, it wont survive...nice sad poem with great imagery

Let your pen and paper be your company.
