Unity

I walk the street where we first held hands.
The moon glows with its ever-charming light.
So slowly, I walk where you walked
to listen to the critters' nightly serenade
and breathe April's cold air into my lungs.

The symphony of sounds in this street,
the multi-colored landscape we so adore
and the restless thoughts in my head
scattered like the wistful, jealous stars above,
all converge to echo your name.

    Caught a couple of typos

'and breath April's' should be 'and breathe April's'
    ' multi-colored lanscape' should be ' multi-colored landscape'

Apart from that, this is beautiful. It's rich in imagery, and I swear if I close my eyes I could hear a busy street, insects converging to whisper a name. Beautifully written!

Hi there, Hiraeth! Thank you for pointing out the typos. I wrote that in the middle of the night when I can't sleep and just posted it immediately! Glad you like the poem! :)
