Where Has it Gone?

by Everlasting   Aug 28, 2019

Where has my imagination gone?

It used to be like bees
buzzing buzzing in my ears
flying afore my sight
as if soaring from flower to flower
germinating my thoughts
to make honey

Sweet honey!

to add sweetness to my life.

I know what you mean by that Luce. I have felt the same for too long.
You’re just not feeling it. maybe your brain is occupied now and when the occupation falls a little, tiny ants of imagination will march into your brain.
(I hope your head wont feel itchy then :P)

I don't think your imagination went anywhere Luce, this poem is ripe with your patented imagination :) I could hear the bees buzzing in my ears, and flying from flower to flower. One note I do have about the poem is to maybe add parentheses around 'Sweet honey!' just to make it a bit easier to write.

Really love your latest influx of poems, if those arose from 'a lack of imagination' as you so put it, then sign me up!

      Thank you Ben and Ya—-Naa.
Despite so, it still feels like it’s missing.

Luce - your imagination is here, bold and clear on this very page.

    All the best as ever,
