Tree in a Forest

by DarkNDangerous   Sep 19, 2019

There is a tree in a forest.
Standing tall.
Roots fortify.
Alone, yet florishing.

Seasons come into light.
The fridged outlines protrude.
Creatures burrow holes for rebirth.
The sun brings worth, yet leaves start falling again.

The leaves decent to the ground.
What once was life gets stepped on.
Dies to the depths of cracks and pieces.
Stems will seek new life, yet never will be what once was.

The time passing changes.
The leaves dwindle and break.
The seasons effect and mold.
But there is a tree in a forest; standing tall...
