Autumn does funny things to me too, Andrea. Not one for it, myself. Beautifully expressed as ever.

    Take care

Okay. First of all, I have to say that ever since I saw a post from you on Facebook about humpty Dumpty had a great fall, I haven’t been able to unrelate you to Autumn. So I hear Autumn and Andrea comes to mind. However, now the post on Facebook was more cheerful than this one. This one is sad. It sounds like Andrea doesn’t have a great fall like Humpty Dumpty. The atmosphere in the poem is chilly and haunting. A good poem though. I hope you are doing well.

Love the haunting imagery. The pace of the poem pulls you into the light slumber of fall. Well done!

    “ Shadows of flowers
    that once bloomed
    become ghostly visions
    that howl a chilling whisper”

    This is so beautiful!!
And this poem itself becomes a chilling whisper!!
