Dreaming

by Lainie Reay   Oct 2, 2019

Dreaming of your kisses,
Sweet, hot & wet,
Wondering what they'd feel like,
If we ever met.

Dreaming of that shiver,
That sends tingles down my spine,
The one that makes me arch my back,
As your body entwines with mine.

Dreaming of a future,
A future spent with you,
Knowing that you loved me,
And that I loved you too.

Though dreaming's what I'm good at,
It's all I'll ever do
Because no one will ever love me
As I'll never allow them to.

This was something I wrote a long time ago.

Sometimes, we have to force ourselves awake, stop dreaming and allow ourselves to truly live, Lainie.
I know that sounds like I'm preaching, but I genuinely believe that unless we put ourselves out there in this life, there's not much point us living it. Let go a little, and you may be surprised with the results.

Take care and all the very best,

    Ben

      Hey Ben

I totally get what you mean. I wrote this a long time ago and though I've still not stepped into the world of having someone in my life yet. I have started living :)

      Thank you

      Lainie :)
