Breathe

by Catchy   Oct 20, 2019

Let me breathe
Let me breathe in these blades
It will cut
It will bleed
I will swallow it like water
Then, maybe someday
The air will change
Maybe, I’ll breathe in air that doesn’t cut
I will no longer bleed
I will just breathe

Almost at loss for words here, because this poem affected me that much! Your voice is so raw in this poem, and especially jolting when you hope for air that will not harm you. Nothing self-destructive, only refreshing air that can heal your mind and body. No more anguish. No more sharp edges.

You said so much in so few lines, I don't know what else to say <3
