Words of God

by МÅťťђĕш Яĕĩŋĕßĕřg   Jul 12, 2004

I am the Father, Your Creator,
The Beginning and the End
It took me time to make this Earth,
Which you must strive to mend.
It has fallen into disrepair,
Its creatures may not live,
If down the path, a time from now
You take and do not give.
The world needs you and you need it,
A creature you are still.
So use the mind I gave to you
And strive to do my will.

I am the Son, your savior still,
I died to save your soul,
But let my death not be in vain
And live the steward's role.
You must love your fellow man,
Love each one as I love you.
Love your neighbor as yourself,
And to yourself be true.
When you love your fellow men,
The reward you cannot see,
But I will tell you when you die,
In them you did love me.

I am the Spirit, your watchful guide,
In me you know your God.
You have my gifts to make it through
The road on which you plod.
Use these gifts and take my grace,
I will show you no wrong.
They can't be earned, only used,
They'll last your whole life long.
I am in you, and you in me,
With me you'll win the fight,
I am strength when you are weak,
Know me, and you have might.

This is such a good poem!
You have a 5 from me!
I like it. Very good Holy Trinity idea!
I like how you structured it too.
    And the rhyming was good.
    It made sense.
    Thanks for posting it!
