A Year Together

Another year in passing,
A faded flame now an after thought.
Spent four years alone.
Earned, learned, yearned,
for another possibility,
to love, and be loved.

Spent so much time in the dark,
that when we met, twas' an instant spark.
life, love, history and a meaningful existence, a taboo.
This, to me. It's so new. a great person, so true..
A love like you will have to do.
Because there is not one person on this Earth,
like you.
