Looking Back

This is wonderfully thought provoking in the way that it makes the reader think about life. It is a reminder that whilst we spend our lives toiling for what we think defines us that the most important things in life are most often those that come free. That to all of us comes the passing of time and eventually at some point we will come to question the trappings of our successes and wonder if in the scheme of things that they were really that important at all. Only we can make the meaning something has for us - so ultimately the meaning belongs to us, but too often we just accept a meaning without examining it ...
