Burst Bubble

by Charlene   Jul 12, 2004

I’d worked so hard
Made a beautiful design
When someone more experienced
Came and burst that bubble of mine

I hadn’t done it
As well as I’d planned
But I thought it was still pretty
But they didn’t understand

They saw my mistakes
“Who taught you this trade?”
They said to me laughing
I felt kind of betrayed

I thought I had done well
To accomplish this thing
But it was not good enough
The feeling did sting

I then decided
That I didn’t care
My design is still pretty
It still has that flare

I’ll just work harder
And next time I’ll try
And do it much better
More time I will apply

*I don't really think this poem is as good as my others but, I did feel really stink when someone said that what I thought was good wasn't really. It has happened to me in a couple of situations. This is just one of them. Thanks ~@~ Charlene*
