What have we become
how palpable,
no matter how far,
is the sound of unkindness drum?
Men killing men
Isis, Zionist, Ku Klux Klan
People,
man and women
treating one another
as trash cans.
Condemned man
their hearts’ attention-span,
spans like a broken silly ceiling fan.
In every way you choose
men betray men and woman
as women betray woman and man;
then
what have we become,
virtue less men and women,
an empty rack of human?
what we have become then
the highrises of acumen
crammed with
virtueless human
