Time moves too fast some-times
Actually, it's too fast all the time
What scares me often is that when I look back
All that I remember are fragments
Vivid moments as it were
That stand out like big sand dunes
From the normal plateau that is life

Like,
When I hurt my ribs laughing with a friend…
Or when I almost died at sea…..
And that first time I fell in love....

The truth of the matter is this
One day we will try to understand
How on earth did we get here from what we were?
That’s when we realize
In the normality of life, all is nothing
It’s as if we never existed!

    Time. One of the subjects I most like writing about. As well as other poets. But we all know.. Time is a powerful thing we may not get to go back but with what we learn we can move forward that's what makes time so amazing.. but sometimes we get stuck trying to forget the past and create our future yet still going no place. I do not know.. but I really love poems about time and this is a great one.
