Fire of Within

“They smell your mouth lest you dared to tell the truth." *
In perpetuum they flip
this cracked barrels of bodies,
these baskets of grapes
lest a red wine of a soul
is fermenting in a forgotten grape,
in the relish
of one’s eyes.

They smell your mouth
lest you are still intoxicated by a kiss of the stellar redness,
from the fire of within,
from the everlasting flame
upon the eternal
torch of
the truth.

=====

I borrowed this sentence from A. Shamloo who said: "They smell your mouth lest you dared to say "I love you""
