I really like how the poem went from describing this great love, this person who had much more meaning in everything they are and they do, to one that is cruel. It made me feel like it is a one sided love for some reason.
"at the best of times: your love eclipses
all"

I LOVE this line. The love that person has is so big so wide that it can block away the light shinning on you. It is beautiful, yet has sadness to it. It feels like it is preparing for the next part of the poem, where you are left in the darkness.
"at the worst of times – most of the times,"

Here comes the painful part. For me it feels like every time you are noticed by the person, it becomes a war zone, very hurtful. And this person enjoys watching you suffer.
