The emerald garden

The emerald garden
A nine stanzas poem
Written in "Terza Rima"
A poetry style favoured by the Italian, poet "Dante Alighieri" in the 14th century

The emerald garden

Around her locks
I lay my arm
With silent talks

To keep from harm
Her wavy hair
Foaming with charm

I breathe her air
I stand still
Near her chair

My mind a thrill
My arm a lock
I'm happily ill

Her moves I stalk
Her breath I hear
Her foes I mock

My place is here
I have no doubt
I have no fear

There is no doubt
That this green land
Is free of rout

I understand
If my heart dies
Where it shall end

Through green skies
Of emerald green
Deep in her eyes
