You could once see the emptiness in his eyes
As he rocked her body close to his.
He watched her slowly slip away

She was a broken angel
caught in the hands of time.
With the dreams of happiness
her pain just like yours and mine.
She watched as the world passed by
hidden beneath the barrier she had made.
Her smile fooled all that was around
hoping she would one day fade.
She tasted the tears as they trickled down
sitting in the forest all alone.
She prayed to herself quietly
"lord please take me home.”
She listened as the rain hit the ground
she waited for the storm to come.
She watched as the blue skies turned black
knowing the end has just begun.
She had finally given up hope
as she watched the crimson fall.
She waited for her life to end
she had finally given up on it all.
She lays there now cold waiting
for her life to reach its end.
For she couldn't hold on any longer
her life to broken to ever mend.

but he was already too late.
As he sees his only love lay
as he knows this is his only fate.
His eyes began to water
as he sees her slip away.
Holding on to her cold body
not wanting her soul to ever fade.
Now he lays there shattered
with his only love in his arms.
Trying to keep her body warm
to keep her away from any harm.
His eyes meet the razor blade
as he reached and gripped it tight.
Knowing he couldn't live without her
he had to have her in his life.
With her might she embraces him
and whispered "no" in his ear.
As he watched the blood flow from his wrist
her plea he never did hear.
He holds her body close
and gives her a crimson kiss.
Forever together in the end
the fairy tale now ends like this.
