In Autumn, you felt the glooming falling days,
Your colours dimmed and scarily you sought
What could soothe your darkening pale rays
And saw me, so to my place you brought
Your dreams and hopes, your waves and slopes.
In Winter, you beated with my warm beats,
To my square you bind firmly with thick ropes
Your thin hollow self and through my sheets.
Then thicker you grew in Spring's warm ground
Coloured, you loosened yourself from me
As you espied life was yielding around,
And slowly you did slide in Summer and flee.
Autumn's here, glooming days reign once more,
I see your thin hollow wave, nighing my shore.
