My Unspoken Love

by Matthew Proctor   Jul 12, 2004

Under my breath I speak the words that can't be spoken in your presence...
Your existence drives me insane, when your around I forget to mention...
Every feeling, every emotion that my heart beats for you...
Every smile that you give me makes my world feel brand new...
I can combine the most precious words and put them in this poem...
Then read these passions over and over to myself, but my heart doesn't have the courage to show them...
I could count every second that your not on my mind, but thats impossible because there is never such a time...
That you don't cross my thoughts of written expression, I write all my feelings down because I fear rejection...
But if one star resembled love, then you'd be the most amazing of all skies...
Id gaze up and dream you could do the same but gaze into my eyes...
So I write this as my heart tells me its feelings of it's unknown love...
I could spell your name but my simple words are not good enough to write with such beauty and magic...
I could never comprehend and I would speak your name but my lungs can't pronounce miracles of which the GOD has sent...
So my unspoken aspects of love are eating me for being so afraid this just goes to show what an unnotice emotion has made...
Now every second, I try to think of how to tell you how I feel...
But every time I try, it just gets harder to reveal.

Please tell me what you think
