Day and night time just passes by,
Pets age and the clouds move on to another land,
New leaves grow bright green
As the old ones shine with colorful yellows, reds, and oranges,
Then blanketed in white with bare limps waiting for the new green,
The vibrant paints on nearby buildings fade
With the changing seasons becoming dull and weathered out.
It all once new and now goes to old or grows again,
It all goes on, like might it’s to do so, as nature commands.
