Oof. The pain in this, especially in the truth of that last line, is so tangible. It reminds me of when others perceive we are fine, as long as we keep moving, keep breathing, they will not dig deeper to see our true state or the way we may hide the ways we hurt. Your voice is strong in this, personal and a reminder that no matter our background, our location, how "okay" we may seem, we may still be struggling.
