The Ugly Ducklings

by BOB GALLO   Apr 29, 2020

Only kids feel the suffocation,
adult are already suffocated.

The impatient kites,
dying to see the world from a vantage point,
stretching their neck in a blue less sky
like divers searching for the same hole in ice
that let them in
to find their way back to the air and oxygen again.
But only a few have enough thread in their necks hanks
to kite away
like The Ugly Ducklings.
