Beauty Like Diamonds is Forever

by BOB GALLO   May 3, 2020

We lost our genders to love.
We lost our voices to love.
We lost our distinctiveness to love.
We lost
our existence
to love
We lost our dualities to love
while we melted our distances
like the candlesticks.

We lost our genders to love.
We have surrendered our flesh, our fortresses
to break free from the fate of outward wounded world,
from our prison, ourselves.
We loved each other to liberate.
We liberated
each other
to love.

We learned love on the parallel ends of our seesaws.
We burned in one another’s flames
and materialized again in the other side,
of what we desired for one another,
on the other sides of our bilateral mould
of beauties.
We savvied that beauty would perish to its persistence
and would persist
in its departure,
that beauty dies soon
and it wouldn't last in the torches
of weeping candles of blooms,
neither in the vase of shapes,
nor in the urn of tomorrows.

We learned to learn the beauty
We witnessed their withering in the jar of time
but their blossom
in the jardiniere of hearts.

We arrived
at the sheer diamonds of meaning;
not in the cadaver or distance,
the soul of the moments,
where the smalls and abysmal drop their differences,
where there are so radiantly everlasting.
where nearest is the farthest distance in a sphere.

We learned love is the defeat of coldness in the hearth of a kiss,
the sparkles that ignites woods
stoves and passion in the hearts.
We learned beauty is a blaze
the jazz of fire in the shadow of shape.
we learned the real beauty is
a dot
that would be never swabbed,
from the garden of butterflies,
like the quintessence of blooms
like the specimen,
that changes its cadaver of form
but never its core
in the winter winds,
or the reach of wrinkles.

We saw
beauty like glow
inflames in the airstream of creation
igniting in all the magnitudes of time
but still rooted in the core of timelessness
from the chain of each and every moment,
to the braking free
from the illusion of time
to our beauty, break free
from within,

from a speckle in space
a dot in the butterfly wings.
to the inconmensurable depth of meaning,
to the contagious uncontainable splendour
and to the sheer size of nothingness
in ever sizes.

We learned beauty would never end
it reincarnate from the flower to paint, to imagination, to another flower
we learned like the water
that how fouled, always cycle our way back
to crystal clarity.
and we learned how diamonds
are forever.
