Palpitations is one of my favorite words so your title drew me to the poem. It can be used in a few different ways.

Again i love the double sided message here this time it is dealing with emotions. The first few lines are written so well. There is a feeling of love and almost happiness there. This person was a big part of your life and by the way you wrote this they were water to your flower and helped you bloom. But things always change for the worse.

They were not there to catch you when you fell. And ot seems like you fell hard. The way you wrote this part it leaves it up to the reader to use their imagination. I love poems like that.

In my mind you fell in love and they didn't catch you or the opposite to me is you fell into depression. Honestly i think it is both. You can feel the mark your love for them left behind and that set you off into a sad path.

The ending was a little bit twisted because it seems like this has happened before and you were ready for it but it still is painful no matter what happens. The feelings are valid here. You wrote this so well.

The way this poem is written has many images running through my mind a d one where a person whom you are so into with just leaves you when you need him the most. The underlying tone has pain which makes your whole system sick yet you are holding onto a calm impression which makes the reader feel it more...
