Dandelion Wish

by Saakiel   May 7, 2020

Whatever he is,
all filled with yellow,
blooms a rosette of gold.

Wherever the sun strikes,
at morning he glows,
yet sleeps when it’s dark and cold.

Whenever he fades,
turns white– weighs light,
let the wind carry his soul.

Whenever he disperses,
seems growing his wing,
and flies like a free flying bird.

Wherever he may be,
as bubbles pop in mid air,
just like cottons of snow.

Wherever he goes,
opens a parachute,
lift out and fall off the earth.

Whoever catches him,
whisper your dandelion wish,
take a deep breath and blow.

Wherever he lands,
buries his own crown,
let him grow.

What a perfect and picturesque story of the life of a dandelion. Gave me quite the feeling of nostalgia...sweet memories of trying to influence a future from wishing upon a dandelion. Beautiful!
