..if i were you

by Michael   May 15, 2020

Such pain and loss, in all such war
I see no god, upon our shore.
No aid in sight, for ones that plea
but still, they pray, on bended knee.
So many deaths,, fall at your door,
It feels you don’t exist at all.
Each day that dawns, more days we see
our lives are left, in misery.
The need for you, so to implore
for you’re the one they so adore.
If true, a father almighty
you’d help this dark reality,
where children wait for you to call
before last breath, is all they draw.

if I were you and you were me
without a prayer I’d set us free

I know where you're coming from. Your plea is loud and touching. Sometimes it makes me wonder. Do we really need a divine faith to be kind to this world.? Can't our empathy and love save others and the world? Thank you for sharing..i hope for a better humanity ..
